Ayurveda is a time-tested medical science which originated before all medical sciences came to exist.

It is the first documented medical science that deals with human disease and prevention. The western thought however, captivated the minds of the past century and the subsequent invasions on India deprived Her of this gift – of this precious gift. The greatest wealth of this land has been its depth of knowledge; India has been a birthplace for many sciences which in turn brought a humongous amount of wealth and fame for our land.

Unfortunately, this very wealth attracted people from other lands and became the bane for Her and during the ensuing time,  deprived us of our own knowledge.  In the 21st century we look forward to rejuvenating the science of Ayurveda  to its past glory and help mankind all over the world to find unique solutions to modern day diseases.

Ayurveda has drawn a lot scepticism over the past century. People within and outside India call it a tradition and unscientific. I would like to explain this misconception; whenever a scientifically derived and carefully imbibed concept becomes a part of the cultural fabric of that people, it becomes a tradition of that land. It does not suggest that it is unscientific. Anything that fails to fit into the western logic and its limited understanding of health cannot be branded as unscientific, until one tries to understand the Ayurvedic principles that have endured over 5000 years.

Indian sciences are based on the basic principles such as pancha mahabhoot siddhanta and trigun siddhanta. If the principles are studied carefully, no Indian science can be difficult to comprehend.

Ayurveda also has its fundamentals based on the same principles. The first step towards understanding Ayurveda is by using its medicines; by seeing and personally experiencing its effectiveness. Ayurveda also has its fundamentals based on the same principles.

The first step towards understanding Ayurveda is by using its medicines; by seeing and personally experiencing its effectiveness. When one learns about its efficacy, naturally I would expect one would want to learn more and plunge into the depth of Ayurveda.

In this endeavour we at Rasayu have embarked on this mission by providing significant understanding about Ayurveda through this website.

Chairman & Managing Director

I am sure will help address those medical needs that are left unanswered by the contemporary  medicine. The focus on prevention is by far, the greatest asset of Ayurveda and is the foremost commitment of every Vaidya and Ayurved practitioner.

Besides, I firmly believe Ayurvedic products should be watched for its manufacturing process, instead of only final product specifications. The process of manufacturing and following the minute details as prescribed in the texts, is the key to the entire manufacturing operation and its outcome. This would make a genuine student and an ardent lover of this beautiful science. We hope to have continuous learning from this platform so that students can develop further insight.
